Last night after watching an on-demand episode of Orphan Black, I had the tv on MAVTV. WRC in Portugal was on. My wife who doesn't like ANY racing actually watched some of it with me. She even made the comment "if they're drifting, does that mean their tires are facing the other direction."

She understands Oppo now!

I asked if she'd be interested in watching other WRC and got a maybe. Much better than the normal No. Maybe she was just tired.

When I used to watch WRC coverage, my wife (then g/f) would watch it with me from time to time. She had a crush on Loeb.

Now she will watch Top Gear UK with me. Hooray for awesome wives!

Mine started watching F1 with me last year and is taking me to COTA for the race this fall. Huzzah!

She has, I think that is where the idea was planted. She did not understand it when we watched that.

Well, I can't blame her too much. There's been some great races this season, but Monaco is just "follow the leader" with the current cars. Maybe get her to watch Rush, the "1" documentary and Senna with you, to see if those spur any connection.
